Hundreds Thank Jake’s Father-in-Law for Service this Veterans Day

A feel good story to end your Veterans Day…

This morning ABC’s Jake Tapper tweeted this simple message to his 30,000 followers:

@jaketapper hey, if you can thank my father-in-law, Vietnam Air Force veteran Tom Brown (@mograndpa), for his service, would mean a lot to him.

Tom Brown received over 600 tweets today, including one from Sen. Claire McCaskill and “The West Wing” actor Josh Malina. Tapper says it meant a lot to him. Brown tweets:

@mograndpa: Read every Veterans Day note sent to me today (600+). Each one different. Each one wonderful. You all made this old coot tear up. Thanks
