Injured NPR Intern on the Mend

Annie Ropeik, intern, NPR
NPR Spokeswoman Anna Christopher reports that Annie Ropeik, the NPR intern and Boston University student who was reportedly stabbed four times in the neck last week in Chinatown on her way to work by Melodie Brevard, is stable and expected to fully recover.
Police have charged Brevard with assault and intent to kill.
“Her family reports that she continues to be in good spirits, and is in stable condition at an area hospital,” Christopher wrote FishbowlDC. “The doctors will continue to work to assess the best treatment and the family is optimistic about her full recovery.”
