What single person played the biggest role / had the biggest influence on your journalism career? This girl named Lauren who was on the AFP desk in DC. She could not have been meaner: she used to read my stories out loud and mock them to the whole desk. I swore I’d become CEO and fire her one day. Still working on that, really …
When’s the last time you volunteered? Where? I raised $7,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society running the Anchorage marathon last year. I’ve been a bit slack since then, I must admit.
