John King, Uber-Correspondent

johnking.jpgAnne Schroeder must have some special powers. She reports in Names & Faces on Friday that you’re unhappy in your current job and on Monday you get a new one.

From the Note today:

“A well-placed source says that, as early as today, CNN will announce that John ‘the King of Pebble Beach’ King, will be leaving the helm of the cable net’s White House unit to become an ‘Ubercorrespondent’ for the network, a roaming linebacker who can run to whatever hot spot he’s needed. As has been reported elsewhere, King doesn’t like his slimmed-down butt in an anchor chair for too long.”

As ABC Notes, after King‘s departure CNN’s White House team–Suzanne Malveaux, Dana Bash, and Elaine Quijano–will become the first all-female team in “the history of television.”

If there’s anyone else who wants to take advantage of Anne’s special relocation powers, Names & Faces runs on Fridays and Saturdays. We suggest you get cracking.
