On Monday MSNBC Analyst and Executive Producer of “Alpha House” Jonathan Alter still had explaining to do to as followers continued to pester him about the spam they received from him over the long weekend. It involved shedding 20 pounds off their bellies in two weeks.
The offending tweet, which has since been deleted: “Shed 20 lbs of weight off your belly in only 2 weeks.” (We’re not clicking on the link in case it’s a virus.)
“Hacked!” Alter wrote one follower in explanation. And “hacked!!!!!!! But I think fixed,” he told another.
He explained to all who cared, “Yes, my twitter account was hacked by some belly diet guru. Please ignore–or don’t.”
