Journos Who Could Be Porn Stars (Part II)

We recently brought you 10 Washington journalists whose names (only) could qualify them for a certain other profession – the list included such great potentials as Daily Caller intern Gabe Finger, Politico‘s Ginger Gibson and CQ Roll Call‘s Jason Dick. We firmly stand by those choices. But we quickly realized there are clearly 10 more. And hey, it’s August, so if there’s a stray from Manhattan we’re still letting him or her on the list.

Graphic by Austin Price.

See who made the cut…

10. Dan Balz, political reporter, WaPo. Yeah, we know this one is obvious and good for cheap laughs, but his surname is just so Chippendales.

9. Charles Johnson, investigative reporter, The Daily Caller.

8. Fawn Johnson, reporter, National Journal. Either one of these names could land Fawn on a list like this, but two? She was a shoe-in. When we missed her the first time around, she was dismayed, offended even, wondering how she could have possibly been left off our list. We agreed and here she is.

7. Molly Ball, reporter, The Atlantic. See #10 for explanation.

6. Augusta Mellon, publicist, BuzzFeed. It’s unfortunate there’s not an “s” on the end of her surname, but it’ll have to do. It still has a wonderful porn-y southern ring to it.

5. Alysha Love, copy editor, Politico Pro. She has a flare for the exotic and once interned for Reuters in their Brussels bureau. She also attended and covered London’s world premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2.”

4. Jonathan Topaz, web producer, Politico Pro. With a name like this he’d be the, ahem, crown jewel in any beefcake calendar (we know, awful).

3. Loveday Morris, Beirut-based correspondent, WaPo.

2. Paul Mountjoy, TWT. We’re not even explaining this one. It’s only trouble ahead if we try.

1. Paige Lavender, political editor, HuffPost. There’s something inherently porno-licious about an herb in a name. She also aspires to be mellow, and as lavender has calming qualities, she has put in some quality time in the office meditation space.
