Kaplan Changes TNR Role, Will Launch New Journal
FishbowlDC has learned that New Republic Senior Editor Lawrence Kaplan is stepping down as a staffer at the magazine, although he will remain a contributing editor.
Kaplan will be launching a new, DC-based foreign policy quarterly journal called “World Affairs,” which will include such authors as Christopher Hitchens, David Rieff and George Packer.
