Korneiser Returns to 3WT

From the release:

Bonneville Radio DC announced today that Tony Kornheiser will return to his morning radio program live in-studio on Talk Radio 3WT beginning January 21. “The Tony Kornheiser Show” will air at a new time, weekdays 8-10 a.m. and rebroadcast 2-4 p.m.

“The Tony Kornheiser Show” debuted last February on 1500 AM and 107.7 FM. The program has continued to air during Kornheiser’s Monday Night Football hiatus with David Burd sitting in as host, along with Tony’s regular “cast of characters,” Kornheiser “best of” features and live Kornheiser call-ins.

Joel Oxley, Bonneville DC Senior VP says, “Tony is one of the funniest men in America and a proven radio ratings winner. We’re excited about his new time slot which will offer more Tony to both morning drive and afternoon drive listeners.”

Kornheiser adds, “I’m really looking forward to coming back. I really like being at this station and I love doing this show. This is the best version of the show I’ve ever done.”

DCRTV heard grumblings about this yesterday before the announcement.
