We hear that U.S. News has trimmed its sails today, letting go of five (or eight, depending on which tipster to believe) employees. The cuts hit the mailroom, library and fact-checkign department.

The Onion‘s Baratunde Thurston (left), Facebook’s Morin Oluwole, and bitly’s Tim Devane.
