Little Kids With Big News Appetites

From a letter to the Post, published in Saturday’s “Free for All” section (which, per usual, is virtually impossible to find online):

I found insulting the line “maybe today’s Potter addicts someday will even read a newspaper” in your Feb. 6 editorial regarding Harry Potter fans. That implied that children and other Potter fans do not read the newspaper.

That is a gross generalization. I regularly read the paper, as do most of my friends, all of whom are Harry Potter fans.

And, no, I do not read only KidsPost and the comics. I read Health, most of Style and other articles that catch my attention.

I am 12 years of age and have been reading newspapers for quite a few years.
