Liz Seymour was named Executive Features Editor of The Washington Post, overseeing all of its features sections, including daily and Sunday Style, Sunday Arts, Food, Travel, Local Living, Weekend, KidsPost and the magazine.
According to Wash Post comms, this newly created position is designed to assure that writers and editors in all features sections work together seamlessly.
Seymour joined the Post nearly 15 years ago as an education reporter in the Loudoun bureau. In 2009, Liz started and has since served as editor of the Local Living section. In 2012, she also became editor of Weekend and the Going Out Guide. Prior to the Post, she was a reporter at the Los Angeles Times and, earlier, The Detroit News.
