Lizza to New Yorker

From the release:

    Ryan Lizza has been named Washington Correspondent of The New Yorker, it was announced today by David Remnick, the magazine’s editor. Mr. Lizza will
    cover Washington, national politics and the 2008 Presidential campaign. His appointment is effective August 1, 2007.

    Mr. Lizza joins The New Yorker from The New Republic, where he has been a political correspondent since 1998, most recently as a senior editor covering the White House and the presidential campaign. He is also a correspondent for GQ. In addition, he has been a contributing editor for
    New York magazine, and has written for the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine, The Washington Monthly, and The Atlantic Monthly.
