Lobby for Yourself: The Huffington Post Seeks New Politics Editor

1005_jobpost.jpg

huffpost082710.jpgCalling all pundits! The Huffington Post is looking for a new politics editor to create cutting edge content and set the tone of the vertical from its D.C. office. This is a dream opportunity!

If hired, you’ll follow political news like a hawk (we assume you already do), and use editorial and tech tools to create compelling interactive experiences for the site’s readers. You’ll package stories, manage coverage and work with other section editors to cross-promote features.

To be considered, you must have a strong grasp of the political landscape (that’s kind of a given). You should have experience covering breaking news, working under tight deadlines and using CMS and Photoshop. If you also have a little social media know-how and are willing to work flexible hours, you have a good chance of landing this gig. Interested? Apply here.
