Rachel Maddow has declared that she is still not running against Sen. Scott Brown (D-Mass.). And she’s not happy about it. “He is using, as the lawyers say, my name and likeness,” Maddow said on her show last night.
Brown spoke of a potential challenge from Maddow on a recent radio show, saying, “Bring it on.”
Maddow, on her show, replied: “Bring what on? I’m not running against him. I’m not running for anything. … Scott Brown is my senator. Isn’t this weird?”
Maddow insisted that she is (still) not running against the senator despite his insistence to the contrary. On-air last night she phoned Massachusetts residents to personally inform them. She said of Brown, “I think he’s being a creep here.”
