Major Garrett Recalls Oblivion Moment With Elizabeth Edwards
In a series of messages on Twitter, NJ‘s Major Garrett recalls getting relentlessly cracked on by Elizabeth Edwards, who died Tuesday of cancer.
“In ’04, Super Tuesday a.m. I failed to introduce myself to Elizabeth at elevators of campaign hotel…She ribbed me mercilessly that night. And she ribbed mercilessly thereafter…saying i was clueless and self-absorbed. Yes. She had me pretty well pegged.”
Even though Garrett’s now a print journo, the TV guy in him is still vibrant. Now Major has the touching and funny retelling of the incident in much greater elaboration on video. The video places him in a noir Charlie Rose-esque background.
