McCain Camp Goes After Weisman

Keeping up their aggressive pushback against the media, John McCain‘s top policy adviser sent campaign manager Rick Davis a memo earlier today attacking a Washington Post reporter for showing “a reckless disregard for key facts.”
The document, obtained by Politico, takes Post reporter Jonathan Weisman to task for what policy adviser Doug Holtz-Eakin says was Weisman’s mischaracterization of McCain’s stance on a key issue looming over the reauthorization of the Bush administration’s surveillance program that is being debated in Congress.
