McIntyre Takes Jabs at Ex-Employer, CNN

Commedia del Media, the charity comedy event at the National Press Club this Thursday night, is shaping up to be hilarious for some, and well, maybe a chance for others to speak their minds.

In his bio, Jamie McIntyre of Military.com, describes his departure from CNN in 2008 on a “network-wide quality reduction initiative.” McIntyre was CNN’s Pentagon correspondent for 16 years.

Ouch. Seems like McIntyre has been saving some pent up angst and pointed insights about his former employer.

CNN declined to comment on personnel matters.

Participating journo comedians will run through a dress rehearsal of their routines tonight in preparation for Thursday’s show.
