Media Types Dish for Charity
Last night at Teatro Goldoni media types like Bill Press and Andrea Roane traded in their notepads and blackberries, for aprons and serving dishes.
And what as the special occassion? Barry Glassman‘s Celebrity Chef Night, an annual charity event to benefit the National Brain Tumor Society.
Though we can attest- they are far better skilled at dishing gossip than food and drinks… Politico‘s Patrick Gavin and Kiki Ryan, TWT‘s Green & Glover columnist Liz Glover, US News Washington Whispers’ Nikki Schwab, Colin Sweeney and your very own FBDC editor served as the evening’s bartenders. CQ‘s Jodi Schneider, Washington Life‘s Donna Shor, Myra MacPherson and Janet Donovan also helped out as waiters.
The food was just fantastic (Teatro’s Chef Enzo Fargione was also on hand), the wine flowed freely and we must tell you… Press was the only “celebrity” to really get recognized and asked for a photo.
More photos after the jump…
