Middle Finger Making Comeback in Washington

middle_finger_monkey-12508.jpgCBS award-winning White House Correspondent Mark Knoller cracking wise about President Obama’s intolerance toward “finger pointing.”

Knoller tweeted, “Always finger-pointing in Washington. Especially middle-finger pointing. That’s why “speak on condition of anonymity.”
Knoller was commenting on what President Obama reportedly said in the Situation Room Tuesday regarding Flight 253.

“We were told Obama said, ‘While there will be a tendency for finger pointing, I will not tolerate it,’” the scribe explained. “And some of my Twitter followers asked about finger-pointing in Washington and that prompted my wiseguy response.”

Note: The accompanying photograph, appropriately called the “middle finger monkey,” was not provided by Knoller.
