Mike Allen, Buffalo Wings and his Mother’s Basement
Various members of the D.C. media have been taking swipes at Politico’s purportedly close relationship with former V.P. Dick Cheney these days. In one the latest examples, HuffPost’s Jason Linkins, editor of “Eat the Press” (and we think he really might be trying to eat Politico’s Mike Allen here) writes:
“Then, Cheney goes back to his hidey-hole, where he can avoid confrontation. And Mike Allen can sit back in his basement and wait for his mom to send down some buffalo wings, or something, for lunch. Everybody wins!”
Allen’s reaction: “Yum!”
