Politico‘s Mike Allen appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” around 6:30 this morning to practice his tongue twisters. While chatting with host Willie Geist, he discussed congressional reaction to last night’s CNN presidential debate in Jacksonville.

“Yeah Willie, this is juicy,” he began. “This is the chatter on the buses as House Republicans were coming back from their retreat up in Maryland. And especially freshman, especially women very concerned about the idea of Newt Romney uh uh of Newt Gingrich as the nominee.”

That whole “Romney nominee” proximity is rough. A little she sells seashells and Allen should be in tip top shape for his next appearance.
