NEW YORK – March 23, 2010 – Msnbc.com today announced the launch of the “Meet the Press with David Gregory” application for the iPhone and iPod touch. The new “Meet the Press” app delivers an immersive multimedia experience from America’s No. 1 Sunday morning public affairs program. Viewers can stay connected to the best political news and analysis – anytime. The free app features compelling interviews with leading U.S. and world newsmakers, discussions with noted journalists and experts from the program’s famed roundtables, and integration with social media so consumers can easily share clips. Consumers can also join the conversation and connect with David Gregory, the moderator of “Meet the Press,” by following him on Twitter or sending him questions – directly from the app. The “Meet the Press” app will be available to consumers on RIM’s BlackBerry App World in April, 2010.

“As I’ve said before, I’m committed to bringing ‘Meet the Press’ to where the people are,” said David Gregory. “Whether you are sitting on the bus or waiting in line at the supermarket – ‘Meet the Press’ is now in your pocket and I hope this new access brings more people into the Sunday morning conversation.”

The interface of the “Meet the Press” app allows for easy navigation by offering consumers a full view of the menu so they can select what they want to explore.
