MTP’s Gregory to Give Keynote on…Food Safety?

David Gregory, host of NBC’s “MTP,” will deliver the keynote address at the 13th annual Food Safety Summit in April. “Whaaaa?” thought everyone who just read that.

Gregory was an obvious choice for the keynote because, says a press release, “He has moderated many discussions about food safety issues and we are confident he will deliver a highly relevant and timely speech for our audience.”

The three day conference includes discussions on “Effective Risk Communication In Order To Secure Food Safety Resources” and the “Three Pillars Of Successful Food Liability Program: Prevention, Response and Resolution.”

So yeah, why the hell not Gregory?
