In a special tribute, the dinner will honor journalists who have been killed or injured while covering the Iraq war. Appearing on behalf of this group will be Michael Weisskopf of Time Magazine, who lost his right hand while throwing an explosive device out of the Humvee in which he was riding. The Worth Bingham Prize for investigative reporting will be presented by the National Press Foundation for the first time, with the winner announced in February.
