NJ’s Hotline on Call Names Editor

Jeremy Jacobs joins The Hotline as editor of Hotline on Call.

His past: The move couldn’t have happened sooner. He comes to Hotline On Call from the unraveling Campaigns and Elections magazine, where he and a scant few made the best of a difficult, confused working situation. He wrote features on campaign finance law and various races across the country – including the Massachusetts Senate special election.

He has worked for The Hill newspaper, where he wrote about House races and contributed to their “Blog Briefing Room”. During the 2008 cycle, Jacobs worked for the New York Observer and launched PolitickerMA.com, a news blog dedicated to Massachusetts politics. In less than a year, PolitickerMA.com grew to become a must-read for Bay State politicos.

…”Jeremy has what it takes to continue The Hotline’s long-held mission: Delivering wisdom before it’s conventional,” remarked The Hotline’s Editor-in-Chief Reid Wilson.

Jacobs joins Wilson, newly-hired executive editor Josh Kraushaar and Hotline’s staff at a time when, as the release states, “exciting changes are underway at Washington’s premium political information service.”

Jacobs begins on Aug. 16. Congratulations to him.
