NPR Heats Up
Two NPR D.C. hiring notes:
- John Hendren, whom you might remember as one-half of the hottest male off-airs in Washington, has been hired away from the LA Times to be NPR’s new Pentagon correspondent. He’s been at the Pentagon for the LAT for four years, and did previous stints with the Seattle Times and AP. He’ll begin in mid-November.
- Allison Keyes is joining NPR’s National Desk as a new General Assignment reporter. For the past 3 years, Keyes has spent the last three years as a New York-based reporter for the Tavis Smiley Show and News and Notes. She’ll begin in October.
