NPR Hires Marketing and Strategy Experts

Emma Carrasco, currently Executive Vice President of Republica, aMiami based strategic and creative agency specializing in multiplatform marketing, will become NPR’s head marketer. In addition, Loren Mayor has been hired to be NPR’s SVP of Strategy. Mayor is Veep of Strategy and Ventures at PBS, where she has worked since 2008. NPR President Gary Knell announced the news this morning.

Both start in early December.

Much of the release is bloated with words like “robust” and “award-winning”, so we’re sparing you any further details.
