Obama Twitter Feed Dominates WaPo Homepage
The front page of WaPo’s website this morning has all their usual features including a front page ad that abnormally dominates the right hand side of the screen. Except today, it isn’t just your typical campaign ad. It’s an embed of tweets from the Obama campaign. It features tweets from @BarackObama, @Obama2012, and @TruthTeam2012. You can even scroll back relatively to see tweets from previous days.
It’s clearly labeled as an advertisement and they are previewing Tuesday night’s debate, saying “Get the Facts.” Naturally, there is a “Donate Now” button at the bottom of the feed.
