Party Photos: Gabor Steingart’s Book Party

On Tuesday, May 20th guests gathered to celebrate the release of Gabor Steingart‘s book, “The War for Wealth: The True Story of Globalization.” Steingart is Der Spiegel’s former bureau chief and is currently its senior correspondent for Der Spiegel. He lives in Georgetown with his wife and two daughters.

Notable party guests included: the German Ambassador Dr. Klaus Scharioth and his wife Dr. Ulrike Scharioth, Sen. Birch Bayh, Sebastian Mallaby of the Washington Post, Pulitzer Prize winner Steven Pearlstein, Principal Deputy Associate Secretary of the Army Peter E. Kunkel, IMF Board Member Stephan von Stenglin, and Time magazine’s Peter Ross Range.
