Perry Bacon Needs To Work On His Pecs
Mark Leibovich’s recent piece in the New York Times was picked up by Drudge thanks to a quote by Joe Biden, in which he told a reporter (not named in the piece) to work on his pecs.
So who was the mystery reporter? We hear it was the Washington Post’s Perry Bacon.

I have been assured by several esteemed journalists, including my old colleague and New York Times reporter Peter Baker and the Washington Post’s Anne Kornblut, that my pecs are just fine. On the other hand, in the hurried pool report I had to submit on my exchange with Sen. Biden, I described his remark about my ‘pecks.’
