Pierce Upped at Roll Call
Emily Pierce will join Roll Call’s senior editing team as Senate Editor when she returns from maternity leave on May 2nd. In an internal memo announcing Pierce’s promotion, Scott Montgomery said:
“Over the last few weeks, Emily and I have spoken several times about Roll Call past, present and future. We share a common vision for Roll Call as a dynamic, engaging and endlessly fascinating news source for the professional community of Capitol Hill. With her roots in some of Roll Call’s best days, Emily will bring a vital continuity to our drive into a bright new future.”
A Roll Call vet, Pierce has been with the publication since 2003. Prior to that she spent six years at CQ. Congrats to Emily!
