Politics and Prose News

From their email blast:

Politics and Prose is excited to announce two new partnerships that will complement our long-standing relationship with C-SPAN2′s BookTV. The first is with npr.org to bring you Book Tour, a new web feature and podcast. Each week, they’ll present authors of both fiction and nonfiction as they read from and discuss their current work. The talks are taken from the P&P in-store author series and include portions from the question-and-answer segment. You can either listen online or download the talk. Jonathan Lethem and Kiran Desai are among the first authors to appear on Book Tour. You can access Book Tour at npr.org/booktour or from the Politics and Prose website, politics-prose.com.

The second is with a new online resource, Fora.tv, which is an Internet relative of BookTV. Fora.tv is periodically at Politics and Prose taping book talks about current events, history, and politics. They tape similar talks all over the country. Right now you can access Robert Dallek talking about his monumental study of NIXON AND KISSINGER, Christopher Hitchens on his GOD IS NOT GREAT, and many others that were recorded right here at the store. Check it out—Fora.tv has a good search engine to find just what you are looking for.
