POTUS Proves to be Avid Note Taker

THE DEEP END…TIPS FROM THE POOL

Gannett‘s Bart Jansen went into intensely descriptive detail in explaining President Obama‘s note taking abilities, including his facial positioning in the below Pool Report.

POTUS took notes — one of few in the room who did — with a yellow pencil as Penny Pritzker made her opening presentation. As others spoke, POTUS also nodded slightly and rested his chin on either his right or left hand, depending on who was speaking. He promised to ask questions, but said he wanted to hear from participants. After calling on speakers by pointing his pencil, Obama resumed taking notes about unemployment and houses being underwater by Robert Wolf and by John Doerr about legislation for homestar equipment that might hitch a ride on oil-spill legislation.

“I’ve been sold on this for a long time,” POTUS said.
