Real Clear Politics’ Memoli Down On “Conveyor Belt of Love”

hrt.jpgMike Memoli, White House reporter for Real Clear Politics, may cover politics by day, but by night, he’s checking out ABC’s “Conveyor Belt of Love”.

The new show, which aired Wednesday night, didn’t sit so well with the Beltway scribe.

The latest in reality TV features a variety of men (one a virgin, another in a black bikini, and so on) who glide along on a conveyor belt as women flash “Interested” or “Not Interested” signs.

The show’s awful. But it’s car wreck kind of good — sometimes, inexplicably, you have to watch.

Memoli tweeted, “Really, network television? “Conveyor Belt of Love”?

Let’s hope he hasn’t Tivo’d it for next week.
