Rep. Waters Gives Human Events the Hand
We reported earlier today that Human Events investigative editor Emily Miller had a run-in on the National Mall this weekend with a rallygoer who called her an “a–hole” and a “bitch” and slapped her.
But late last week, in another Ambush-type interview, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who’s facing an ethics trial, gave Miller the hand when she approached with questions.
Miller walked alongside her through the underground tunnel from the Rayburn House Office Building to the Capitol. They walked along in awkward silence until Waters said, “At some point in time, you ought to respect my telling you ‘I’m not talking to you.” This was 45 seconds into the exchange.
