Emily Kopp, co-host of Federal News Radio’s “Federal Drive,” will transition to a reporter/anchor position beginning September 2, contributing to the program she hosted with Tom Temin and “In-Depth” with Francis Rose.
In addition, morning digital writer/editor Shefali Kapadia will move into a radio producer role for “Federal Drive.”
“By making these shifts, we are able to optimize the incredible talents of our people – brining more depth to our presentation. The end result will be more news stories told in a variety of ways for air and online,” said Lisa Wolfe, FNR program director in a release announcing the restructuring. “Tom Temin’s broadcasting abilities are so polished he will shine as the solo anchor of the Federal Drive.”
“Federal Drive” airs weekday mornings from 6 – 9 am and “In-Depth” weekday afternoons from 4 – 7 pm on 1500AM.
