When’s the last time you volunteered? Where? Living in Boston a few years ago, at the Special Olympics
Who is your favorite active journalist? McPhee in the long-form category – he has a tremendous range of interests, and pulls all of his pieces off with perfect pitch. And Frank Phillips among the daily folks – he’s the Boston Globe’s long-time State House bureau chief, and is everything a reporter should be.
What did you have for breakfast? Strawberry Pop-Tart
What’s your favorite item of clothing? Blue Zegna tie – a gift from my wife, Laine.
What one toiletry item could you not live without? Toothbrush
