If you happen to hear shrieks coming from the WJLA newsroom over in Rosslyn, Va., that would be the result of their ongoing rodent problem. Sources tell us people are not only screaming but jumping up and down. The problem has been going on all week, with the the occasional shriek erupting, but today a rodent came out and ran around and a bunch of WJLA staff freaked.
A WJLA employee confirmed to FishbowlDC that the mice issue has been going on for awhile. Whether it’s one or more, however, is a mousy mystery. “Dunno, either a very active mouse or a heard,” the employee said.
Back in February, 2011, Politico, which is housed on the same floor as WJLA, also had a mice problem. Big fat ones, too, as we recall.
