Roll Call’s Peoples to AP
Steve Peoples, who joined Roll Call less than a year ago from the Providence Journal, is already moving on. According to a memo from Scott Montgomery, Peoples has accepted a new post at the Associated Press, where he will be a Northeast regional political reporter and ultimately based out of Boston.
In the note announcing Peoples’ departure, Montgomery said, “Although his time here was short, his name will forever be linked with Santorum’s ‘Google Problem’ and the story he wrote assessing it.”
