As they say, everything old is new again. Such was the case this morning when Mike Allen, Chris Cillizza and Rick Klein all reported breaking and/or exclusive news that a group of former Romney aides are forming a consulting group.

Okay, so what? A Beantown tipster tells FishbowlDC that the news of the Shawmut Group is about 7 months old — and it is. On December 13, 2008, The Boston Herald ran this:
