Rough Juxtaposition

A reader sends us this Shot/Chaser combination (hat tip: Hotline):

SHOT: Ana Marie Cox‘s plea for money to continue on the campaign trail.

CHASER: Washingtonian magazine’s profile of Cox’s “stylish renovation” in her kitchen.

Cox had a few requests of her own for Alexandria architect Benjamin Ames and interior designer Marnie Kenney. Several walls were removed to incorporate two closets and a mudroom and to connect the kitchen to the breakfast room, study, and dining room. Doing so made room for Cox’s priorities, a combined TV and computer terminal and a second sink.

UPDATE: To be fair, the Washingtonian piece does not that Cox’s kitchen is full of Ikea stuff.
