RTCA “Hopeful” That Obama Will Attend Dinner

RTCA 2009 012.jpg

Now that Obama’s overseas trip is delayed until next Sunday, will the President attend the Radio & TV Correspondents Association Dinner on Wednesday? Sources tell FishbowlDC that RTCA has reached out to the White House and are “hopeful” that the President will have a change of plans for the dinner.

UPDATE: At the top of today’s press briefing, Robert Gibbs announced that the President will host a St. Patrick’s Day reception at the White House. This almost ensures that he will not be attending the RTCA Dinner on the same night.
