Run! The Blogs Are Coming!

Harry Jaffe turned his column over this week to an explanation and list of D.C. journalists’ favorite blogs (“blogs,” if you don’t know, is short-hand for “web logs.”), but that same day on Friday, we got two unique insights into why reporters and the “internets” don’t really mix yet:

  • Exhibit A: Jonah Goldberg’s discourse on potted meat. He declares at the opening that he’s “been fascinated with [potted meat] for roughly fifteen years.”

  • Exhibit B: Marc Ambinder’s live chat with folks on ABCNews.com is a good example of how the internet is full of crazy (and stupid) people.

Sample Witticism: “How can the Republicans be referred to as the Right when they are Wrong about so many things?”

Sample Sign of Genius: The four questions posted AFTER Ambinder declared the chat over.
