Russert On Matthews
On this morning’s “Imus,” NBC’s Tim Russert denied that he hates Chris Matthews (earlier). “He’s a friend, he’s a colleague,” Russert said, adding that his kids went (go?) to high school together, “he’s been to my house, I’ve been to his house.” He said he was “stunned” when he heard that and that he has “no idea” how that rumor started (where: Scooter Libby, via Mary Matalin).
Unrelated: Imus called Russert “a Bills fan to the point of annoyance.”
