Sally & Schieffer: On Faith, Cronkite and Sundays at Face

Sally Quinn stopped by Bob Schieffer‘s CBS office to chat “On Faith,” about his good friend Walter Cronkite and how he spends his Sundays not at church, but on Face the Nation.

On Cronkite: “He’s who I wanted to be, he’s still who I want to be.”

On religion: “I think about religion a lot, I read about it a lot. It is a part of my life, but I really don’t go to church. I do Face the Nation on Sunday- I’m not saying thats an excuse.” (Laughter)

On questioning God: “Maybe it’s the reporter in me.”

Quinn pens WaPo‘s “On Faith” with Newsweek‘s Jon Meacham.
