Sinderbrand Heads for Big Apple

photo_120-240x300.jpgCNN’s Associate Political Editor Rebecca Sinderbrand is leaving Washington, D.C. and heading to Manhattan. CNN has promoted her to a political producer for “AC-360′s” Anderson Cooper.

“The bad news is that we’ll lose Rebecca’s outstanding daily guidance of the CNN Political Ticker,” wrote in a well-wisher. “The good news is that our friends up in New York are getting an outstanding producer with her fingers on the pulse of everything happening in the political world. Please congratulate Rebecca as she gets ready to pack up and move to the Big Apple.”

Sinderbrand has covered the past three presidential campaigns as a staffer for CNN, Newsweek magazine and the Associated Press. She has reported from the Middle East, including Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan and the West Bank. She has written for the LAT, Time, Slate, Salon, the New York Observer and the Columbia Journalism Review. She’s a Georgetown grad.
