Sullivan Joins Time Magazine
Rick Stengel announced today that former Washington Monthly editor Amy Sullivanwill join Time magazine as Nation Editor. “Amy will be based in New York and Washington and will oversee TIME’s political coverage,” Stengel said. “She will also set the new template for editors, as she will be editing political stories both for the magazine and — along with Dan Eisenberg — for TIME.com.”
Stengel also confirmed FishbowlDC’s scoop from last week, that Bloomberg’s Jay Newton-Small is joining TIME as a correspondent in their Washington bureau. Small will cover “politics from Capitol Hill and the campaign trail and writing extensively for TIME.com,” said Stengel.
