Sun Sentinel TV Writer Says ABC Should Keep Tapper as Host
South Florida’s Sun Sentinel thinks ABC is making a “mega mistake” by removing Jake Tapper as interim “This Week” host and bringing in Christiane Amanpour come August.
In this story by Tom Jicha, the longtime TV writer outlines all the reasons he believes this to be true.
“There is no question Tapper is up to the job,” Jicha writes. “Who knows if Amanpour is. Her perspective is global, always has been. This is not a character flaw. It could be said it is an attribute. But it is a negative for a program driven by domestic political discussions.”
