Sunday Show Ratings, 1.26.14: Schieffer Back on Top, ‘MTP’ Holds Steady

“Face the Nation” was back on top this week. After a dip to third place last week, Bob Schieffer recaptures the lead in the Sunday Show horse race, with 3.27 million total viewers and 1.o million in the key demographic. This makes three out of four weeks of the first month of 2014 that “Face the Nation” has taken the top spot. “This Week” was first last week. “Meet the Press” has held steady in second place all month, after finishing third in the fourth quarter last  year.

And according to our friends over at TVNewser:

“Face the Nation, “Fox News Sunday” and Univision’s “Al Punto” are all up compared to the same week last year. Univision is up the most in total viewers (+23%) and CBS is up the most in the demo (+37%). ABC’s “This Week” is up in total viewers and down in the demo and NBC is flat is total viewers and down in the demo.
