Sunday Source Shake-up

We hear today that the editor of the Post’s embattled Sunday Source section has been, um, reassigned.

Debra Leithauser, who has been editing the Post’s TV Week, will be stepping into the void. Debra had been the Source’s deputy editor, but left after having some difficulties working in that unique environment. We hear that the Source staff is quite happy to have someone attempt to bring order to the chaos that has been Section “M,” the Post’s biggest waste of newsprint each week.

As for outgoing editor Sandy Fernandez? No one is quite sure where she’ll be heading. Style? Somewhere else? The question we’re getting from people inside the Post: Did she take a pay cut?
